Capital Coaching
Work one-on-one with a mentor to clarify the financing process and prepare your strongest loan application.
Finance can be confusing
You know your business. Whether you are a baker, a plumber, or a small-scale developer, that’s your expertise. The world of finance, though, is less clear to most entrepreneurs. Amortization schedules, debt-to-income ratios, and other bank-speak can be daunting.
How a Capital Coach can help
Our Capital Coaching program pairs entrepreneurs with an expert mentor. As a participant, you will work one-on-one with your Capital Coach to gain an insider’s knowledge of the financing world.
Avoid common mistakes. Your Capital Coach can help you avoid some of the financial pitfalls that often slow an entrepreneur’s progress, such as:
using high-interest credit cards for working capital,
buying equipment that could be more economically leased, or
repeatedly renting equipment that could be purchased
Get “Capital-ready.” Your Capital Coach can help you accomplish the prerequisites most lenders or investors want to see. That includes having:
a well-defined business model,
a robust financial strategy, and
a solid understanding of how lenders or investors will view your business, and your application.
Who it’s For
Any small business owner who has completed the core steps of starting a business — you are legally established, have a business or operating plan, etc. — and are ready to grow.
How it Works
Interested entrepreneurs should:
attend an initial education session such as this webinar, and complete the core steps to business success;
